One of our main goals as wedding photographers is documenting love stories, making the most of every detail, emotion and Costa Rican landscape.
Ellen and Andy’s wedding at the Barefoot Vacation Villas in Ocotal Beach was everything we could ask for. Here are some of the amazing images we got from an amazing and unforgetable day.
An Online Love Story
“Ellen grew up in Dallas, Texas and Andy grew up near Detroit, MI, but his family is from south Texas. We met online, through “Coffee Meets Bagel”! We lived less than a mile apart when we met, so hopefully we would have run into each other eventually, but the app sure sped things along!”
Icy Proposal
“Ellen has always been an avid skier, and when Andy found out how much she loves skiing, he decided he had to learn. After a couple of years, they planned a big ski trip, just the two of them, going from Calgary to Vancouver, and stopping to ski along the way. While driving from one resort to the next, they came across a gorgeous glacial lake and valley, and pulled into a little park by the lake. While Andy was working up his nerve, Ellen started to get cold, and was about to head back to the car when Andy said “Just wait one minute!” and knelt on one knee and proposed!”
Tropical wedding
“With family all over the country, we were looking for a place where everyone could get together for a few days and really have a chance to relax and get to know each other.”
